During my tenure at RCA's Music Publishing arm, Sunbury Dunbar,. West coast head of the company was Gary Usher . Gary was one of the originals in the surf movement and wrote "In My Room" with Brian Wilson. Rumor has it Gary and Glen Campbell laid down the vocal tracks in the studio on the hit "Little Honda" by the Hondells. Gary also produced the Byrds and wrote the Gary Pucket hit , "Over You." Here I am in the Recording Studio Producing and singing the lead Vocals on "Strong Man," a song co- written with the great Dick Campbell, another surf music aficionado. We met after Dick toured with Randy Bachman and the Guess Who.
